Job Description

We are looking for a Scope Enablement Lead based in India. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting our SEM (Search Engine Marketing) team. Your responsibilities will involve knowledge sharing, overseeing processes, and ensuring the team functions efficiently and effectively.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Knowledge & Understanding: Deeply understand the MODE strategies and the SEM team’s role in supporting these strategies. Recognize the importance of SEMs in the Integrated Marketing Organization (IMO) and lead efforts to optimize their working methods.
  • SME & POC: Become the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SEM responsibilities, processes, and platforms. Act as the main Point of Contact (POC) for internal cross-functional and agency partners, providing consistent guidance.
  • Financial Budget Management: Develop and maintain a system for managing workflows, approvals, and escalations related to SEM responsibilities. Summarize key points for MODE-Leads on a weekly basis.
  • Oversight & Support: Provide oversight, support, and guidance to the SEM team, serving as their primary POC.
  • Accountability & Quality: Ensure the SEM team fulfills their responsibilities accurately and on time.
  • Consistency: Guarantee that the SEM team works consistently to complete their responsibilities.
  • Escalation Management: Identify risks and escalate them to MODE-Leads while supporting issue resolution.
Skill Sets:
  • Experience: Over 10 years of experience in scope and finance management of pharma commercial marketing landscapes, with a strong track record of delivering results.
  • Knowledge: Proficiency in SAP, Agency management solutions, and Ariba platforms.
  • Leadership: Ability to mentor, motivate, and inspire the SEMs in fulfilling their job requirements.
  • Finance: Good understanding of financial budgeting models, statement of work processes, and financial reconciliation.
  • Critical Thinking: The capability to see the bigger picture and connect day-to-day activities to overall objectives.
  • Communication: Strong and clear communication skills, providing appropriate details, context, and desired response/actions to set expectations with partners.
  • Discipline & Organization: Essential for efficiently managing multiple brands, agencies, and numerous purchase orders.
  • Digital Savvy: Ability to work within various digital platforms and systems.
  • Proactivity: The ability to plan and take actions to prevent delays and friction in the process.
Outline of SEM Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with various teams and agencies, including MODE leads, DEM, Marketing Strategists, Finance, and more.
  • Manage budget and finance-related inquiries.
  • Handle monthly GRs, including updates, calculations, and accruals.
  • Manage various systems, including TACTPLAN, PRISMA, MERCURY, and SAP/SRM.
  • Lead financial reporting and meetings, such as monthly finance status report meetings and quarterly recon meetings.
  • Handle escalations and issue resolution.
