Key Responsibilities
The candidate will be a hands-on development lead and be responsible for the technical design, development/coding, code review, testing, debugging, documentation, and deployment for Veeva CRM and Salesforce applications and enhancements.
Develop or modify systems to solve complex business requirements or problems. Be able to clearly define system scope and objectives.
Possess a thorough technical and functional knowledge of all phases of applications/ product development, systems analysis, and programming.
The person will lead and facilitate the requirements gathering and design sessions with business analysts, product owners, and other technical team members.
Lead in building solution components, POC, develop unit tests, and provide a testing strategy.
Will play an active role in ensuring quality throughout the development lifecycle. Conduct thorough testing, including unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing, to ensure the stability and quality of developed solutions.
Customize and configure VEEVA CRM following industry approved standards to align business processes, including custom object development, workflow rules, validation rules, and data modelling.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse business needs. Conduct Business Requirements, understand and convert them into technical, configuration and functional activities.
Responsible for an efficient on-going production support and troubleshooting for all Salesforce-related issues.
Your Background
15+ years of experience in the areas of computer science, development, and programming.
8+ VEEVA Technical Lead or Architect or in a Senior Developer role.
Must be highly proficient and have current hands-on experience in programming/development of Veeva CRM and Salesforce applications.
Advanced skills in configuration, triggers, process builders, workflows, visual force, apex coding, batch processes, and data modelling and database design.
Experience with the design and implementation of custom objects and applications.
Experience with integrating inbound/outbound, interfaces using BULK/REST/SOAP APIs, OData, and web services.
Proficient in working with the Force.com platform (Apex Code, SOQL, SOSL, Visualforce Pages, HTML, JavaScript).
Knowledge of Networks and Cyber Security standards is a plus.
Experience working on other systems like MuleSoft, Einstein, Marketing Cloud or Market, Health Cloud, Veeva Vault, Promo Mats and Integration with SAP is a definite plus.
Good understanding of the healthcare industry / HIPAA
Experience in automation tools
Expert in Agile and hybrid software development methodologies and best practices in digital delivery.
Stay updated with the latest releases, features, and industry best practices of Salesforce platforms.
Strong problem-solving & analytical skills
Proven ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
